Speaking as a Florida resident myself, let me tell you that it rains in Orlando every day of summer. (You heard me right folks. Every. Single. Day.) In order to stay as dry as possible throughout the daily Floridian monsoon, I would recommend putting ponchos very high up on your packing priority list. Although you can buy these for a pretty penny inside each park, I would stop by a dollar store or Target prior to your vacation to pick some cheap, disposable ones up for a much lesser cost.

For visitors to Disneyland in California, you can pick these up at the 99c Only Store before your trip and save about $8 per coat, which is a lot if you are buying them for your whole family. They come compressed in a nifty little flat plastic case too, so they are very convenient to cary around. There are a few of these stores near Disneyland, but I usually go to the one at 910 Euclid St, Anaheim, CA 92802; open 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM. - John Glass (author, 100 Things You Don’t Want to Miss at Disneyland 2015; facebook.com/100Disneyland )
